The core concept of education for all-round development is "everything for the development of students". Calling for wise education and nurturing characteristic students have become the theme of educational reform of our country. How to abolish the malpractice in our traditional education of paying more attention on imparting knowledge than nurturing wisdom? How to enhance students' abilities of innovation and exploration during the course of teaching? How to make students of different talents and intelligences develop in accordance with their own suitable characteristics so as to achieve all-round development as a human? All these questions have not only been the core proposition popular in the educational field, but also been difficult problems need to be solved by teachers.Teacher is the implementer of educational reform, and no doubt teacher accomplishments become the key factor of whether the education for all-round development could be carried out smoothly and educational reform be successful. With the development of the society, it requires us to educate, with aim and plan, people who will not only develop morally, intellectually and physically, but also are full of innovation and curiosity. Only teachers with high moral cultivation, modern educational concept system and high accomplishments will be able to shoulder the heavy responsibility.The Theory of Multiple Intelligences (MI), proposed by Prof. Gardner, initiates the idea that the intellectual structure of each individual is multiple, different and individualized. The idea provides theoretical basis and practical direction for teachers to realize the object of "giving priority to the cultivation of students' abilities of practice and creation". Meanwhile, MI provides a theoretical basis for teachers to change their educational concept, perfect their educational means, as well as improve their accomplishments.The Theory of MI can inspire teachers in: 1. enhancing teachers' understanding and acknowledgement of students; 2. improving actively teaching methods such as arranging teaching contents and designing teaching situations; 3. adopting evaluation method that will reflect the characteristic development of students better; 4. bringing teacher's strong intelligence into full play and developing teaching skills.In view of the above-mentioned concept, this article takes a close look at the status quo of teacher accomplishments, the relationship between MI and teacher accomplishments, as well as the relationship between MI and teaching by adopting...
