The competitions of the countries all over the world are becoming fiercer in the 21st century. Only when the people's whole quality has been improved, will the comprehensive national strength be improved. Compared to a developed country, the scientific accomplishment of our national citizens still remains in a backward situation. Currently, the low level of our national citizens'scientific accomplishment is becoming a serious lag factor of retarding the progress of our national society, economic development and international competitions. If a country wants to prosper, and a nation to revitalize, the improvement of the people's scientific accomplishment level is extremely urgent.People's accomplishments are in many aspects, among which scientific accomplishment is a very important one. Scientific accomplishment is the basic of understanding the social and cultural value of science and technology, forming right sense of value and making effective decisions. Survey shows that the scientific and technological accomplishments of Chinese are relatively low. School education is an important way to improve the young people's scientific and technological accomplishments. Biology is one of the fundamental natural sciences, and it is also a forward-positioned subject in the modern scientific and technological fields. Biological scientific accomplishment is a main part in the citizens'scientific accomplishments. With the fast development of biological science and technology and the living standards of the people, biological scientific accomplishments become one of the modern citizen's indispensable basic qualities. So the course theory"improving biological scientific accomplishments"is proposed in the new round of course reforms of our country. This article attempts to rely on the new course reform, analyze the results of teaching practice, and probe into the teaching tactics to train student's scientific accomplishments in middle school students'biological teaching. It is expected to inspire educators to some extent, and help the new biological teaching reform.In the article, first of all, the characteristics of domestic and international biological scientific accomplishments are analyzed and the concepts, structures and characteristics of scientific accomplishments under the new course reforms are discussed. Then on this basis, the composition of biological scientific accomplishments and the important function of biology teaching in training students'biological scientific accomplishments are explained. Biological scientific accomplishments consist of three parts: knowledge accomplishment, ability accomplishment and emotional attitude, and value accomplishment. Ability accomplishment is a core of biological scientific accomplishments. Launching the research of biological scientific accomplishment education meet the requirements for cultivating student's creative spirits and improving their practical abilities, which are put forward at present. It can also offer certain basis for the practice of quality-oriented education.On the basis of theory analysis, a lot of research on biological scientific accomplishments has been done in the classes which are taught by the author. Combined with practical biology teaching, the article discusses the teaching strategies to effectively improve students'biological scientific accomplishments, and provide practical teaching design cases. At the end of the article, through the analyze of the results of teaching practice, it is shown, that the basic method to improve students'biological scientific accomplishments are:1. improving probing-type classroom teaching actively2. strengthening experiment teaching3. adding the teaching of the history of science development4. developing the research study of biology, and permeating STS theory in it...
