Goodlad et al divided the curriculum into five domains: ideological curricula, official curricula, perceived curricula, practical curricula & experimental curricula. These concepts evoke researchers attention to the problem of coherence among different curriculum domains. In fact, some curriculum domains are quite complex and there's the problem of coherence in themselves. For example, the official curriculum is composed of national curriculum standard and appropriate textbooks, between which there's also the problem of coherence. These findings should not be neglected and ought to be further studied.By comparing and quantitative research, I found many differences between the three editions of textbook Morality and Society and the curriculum standard of this subject. Those differences can be divided into acceptable incoherence and unacceptable incoherence. The incoherence between the textbooks and the standard of curriculum provides the textbook with living space.The incoherence inside the official curriculum indicates that the compilation of a textbook is not only a problem of the compilation of curriculum, but also a problem of implementation of curriculum However, nowadays, the popular concept of curriculum consider the compilation of curriculum and the implementation of curriculum as two different stages. This is very mechanical and doesn't accord with the truth. Just like the compilation of curriculum does not end in the writing and printing of the textbook, the implementation doesn't start with the adoption of textbook. This study shows that the implementation of curriculum has started during the compilation of textbook. Accordingly, the incoherence between textbooks and the standard of curriculum is a problem that happens during the implementation of curriculum. An extensive concept of the implementation of curriculum implementation would be helpful for understanding and handling the problem of coherence within official curriculum.
