The reformation and development of education depend on the teachers' professional development. With the rapid development of education in Shanghai, there are more and more excellent teachers. As the hard core of all the teachers, their development will influence the progress of education to a certain degree. The former researches always pay more attention on the process from a cub teacher to a excellent teacher. In this dissertation, we will discuss the issue about the re-development of excellent teachersThrough the deeply investigation of three Senior Teachers and interview of some other teachers, we found there were some problem as their re-development generalized into developmental object, developmental condition and developmental methods in the professional re-development of the senior teachers in Shanghai's middle school. To explore the reasons, it included many aspects: the confusion between teachers professional development and occupation career planning caused that they couldn't have the clear object; the high expectation from the society caused that they couldn't have the perfect condition, and they always attribute other's succeed to exterior and incontrollable elements and caused that they couldn't have enough motivity.Based on the case analysis, we put forward some advice to promote their professional re-development from the point of view of spirit, professional right, development motivity and exterior support. We hope the schools will set some examples for the Senior Teachers, give them enough professional right, stimulate their developmental needs and motivation and create conditions for their creation actively.
