Studies On The Supervising System Of The Independent College

The independent college, a new model of higher educational institution, has got a large amount of social funds into Chinese higher education. This has played a very important role in enlarging education resource and has satisfied the demand of higher education development. During several years, many independent colleges have grown successfully with supports from governments and governmental universities. These independent colleges have become a great power in the field of higher education and have cultivated a great number of applied talents. To win more trusts from society and meet the demand of markets, independent colleges should ensure its teaching quality.This paper presents the reason, significance, and research methods on this topic, puts forward the differences between independent colleges and other universities and colleges by comparing their students' characteristics and talents cultivation objectives. Establishing teaching quality supervising system is to control all factors relating to teaching quality, so as to optimize teaching quality in independent colleges. According to the theory of total quality management, this paper introduces principles, mechanisms and the structure of teaching quality supervising system.
