The reform of the secondary vocational education had been fallen behind the change of our economic system from the planned economy to the market economy. In order to change the backward situation of the secondary vocational education, the educational administration had decided to develop the secondary education by the advanced management - the credit system. At present, the credit system which derived from Liberal Education in United State is an important action and is being got fast popularization in Chinese secondary vocational school. The study employed the experimental methods — sending out the questionnaires (the Research on the Credit System in Secondary Vocational School) which were designed by myself, interview with the school masters and administrative personnel, gleaning and collating the materials — to acknowledge the current situation, explore and summarize the existing problems. At the same time, considering our specific practice of social and the secondary vocational education development, from the two aspects of the society and the schools this study analyzed reasons and proposed some suggestions and recommendations to the department of educational administration and schools, expects the credit system which was transplanted from the west would give better service for our secondary vocational schools development.
