Based on the consensus on Buyi ethnic group,Tujia ethnic group,Gelao ethnic group and Miao ehnic group in Huaxi Buyi and Miao ethnic village, Yinjiang Tujia Miao aotonomous county and Wuchuan Shichao village, the paper attempts to research the actual state of reproduction will of married ethnic women of Guizhou province in the angle of gender. The investigation indicates that most of them tend to give birth to two children, which basically accords with China's policy of family control to the ethnic groups. People prefer boys to girls, and a few women want more children in Huaxi that is relatively better and in Shichao village that is relatively backward in education. Women's will of reproduction doesn't greatly deviate from the policy of family control. The main reason that leads to bearing a few children is their gender preference. In addition, age, family possession, their education and traditional culture also affect married women's will of reproduction, However, that the system of provisions for the aged is not well guaranteed forms a key factor that restricts the effective performance of the fertility desires.
