Innovation is the soul of a nation, education is the main way to cultivate innovative person. As a teacher, especially a primary school teacher should how to cultivate pupil's innovative thinking? Are there exercisable methods to borrow? Are they really useful? With the development of the item Ministry of Education-IBM's "Basic Education, Innovative Teaching and Learning", penman have the chance to attend the research of this subject, explore instructional strategies of facilitating pupil's innovative thinking and do experiments in classroom with subject teacher, then organize the influence of strategies' application to pupil's innovative thinking.The paper summarizes correlative research about innovative thinking firstly and makes clear the validity of instructional strategy to cultivate pupil's innovative thinking; Then the author analyze the basic feature of innovative thinking and summarize that the ability of question finding , association and imagination > transforming thinking mode is an important part of cultivating pupil's innovative thinking in school. Based on the research, the author design the project of facilitating pupil's innovative thinking, select question oppugning as the breakthrough of cultivating pupil's innovative thinking, at the same time send mind map and six thinking hats which are familiar in corporation training to Chinese classroom. After a term of experiments, summarize a set of effective instructional strategies: question oppugning instructional strategy, mind map instructional strategy and six thinking hats instructional strategy, the paper analyzes academic source, application method, teaching case and application value of each instructional strategy; In order to evaluate instructional strategies' application effect, one hand interview the teacher and compile questionnaire to survey the students, on the other hand refer to the famous Torrance "test of innovative thinking", form two simple and similar tests, use for parallel class separately before and after the experiments, through quantitative analysis about the test mark to organize the influence of instructional strategies' application to pupil's innovative thinking.The paper proves the validity of question oppugning, mind map,six thinking hats to pupil's innovative thinking. In addition, choosing, combing and improving appropriate instructional strategy or integrating multiple intelligences to develop individual instructional strategy and carrying on in-depth case study is also the way of further studying.
