Changes And Reconstruction Of Village Space In Urban Fringe

With the quick expansion of urban area and upgrade of rural industry, the space of villages in urban fringe has gotten some great changes, also some problems. It is necessary and important to reconstruct the village space in urban fringe. Taking Nanjing as an example, this paper studies alteration and characteristics of village space, and then analyzes the influencing factors. On these basic studies, this paper puts forward the principles and some measures to reconstruct the village space in urban fringe.This paper is mainly divided into six parts:The first and second parts are the preparation of the paper. Beginning with the background of urbanization of China and the process of research, the paper discloses that it is necessary and important to research. Then the paper interprets some concerned concepts. At last, the technical flow and the systemic frame info of this paper are generalized.The third part expatiates upon the characters and trends of the villages in urban fringe in Nanjing. In the villages in urban fringe of Nanjing, the second industries are still as the main body of the industrial structure. The land use of villages is extensive, and the villages are small and dispersive. According to The distance from the cities, we can separate all the villages into three types: villages which is dispersive and unattached, villages which blended with cities, villages which is resettled after demolition.The forth and fifth parts are the principal parts of the paper.The forth part researches the changes of villages space in urban fringe, including ecological space, economic space, life space and social space. This paper considers that the changes of villages space are more obvious in urban fringe than other areas. Then the paper analyzes the mechanisms of the changes.The fifth part analyzes the problems in the planning and construction. And then, it brings forward five modes for reconstruction of village space, and three modes for scheduling.The last part gathers up the primary conclusions of the paper, and points out the flaw, and opens up prospects for the future studies.
