As the guarantee for fostering the new generations, education is considered more and more important in the modern world of highly internationalized and diversified. In order to advance the quality education and develop the creativity of students, for the first time, the Department of Education promotes the Problem-based Learning in common middle schools in China and calls on people to take it seriously. Being a necessary part of the multiple practice in the system of the new basic curriculum, the Problem-based Learning is drawing more and more attention. Generally there are two opinions toward the Problem-based Learning. One is the understanding from the angle of ways of learning and other is the understanding from the angle of the curriculum. The passage talks about the Problem-based Learning as a method of learning.The Problem-based Learning is a way of learning that the learners choose the subject from their life and research into it spontaneously. Based on this definition, the passage tries to demonstrate the practicability and efficiency of the Problem-based Learning in Chinese language in middle schools. Thus, how to carry out the Problem-based Learning in middle school teaching is put forward and the passage suggests an idea for putting the Problem-based Learning into practice. The passage starts with the time background for carrying out the research study, then talks about the understanding for the definition of it, and goes on to promote the whole course of using it in middle school Chinese teaching.When the middle school Chinese teaching meets with difficulty and the Chinese teachers are continuously self-questioning and requiring, the promotion of the Problem-based Learning undoubtedly brings vitality to the teaching of Chinese. It is being accepted as a new method of learning. Therefore, I choose the Problem-based Learning to discuss in the passage.
