The CAI Courseware Of Chemistry In Junior Middle School Based On Constructivism

Courseware, the soul of Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI), embodies the educational thoughts and the teaching levels of designers, which directly has impact on the success of CAI. Up to now, research and study for CAI courseware are boomed up, both education institutions and commercial computer companies have taken their efforts. Though numerous coursewares in the market now, none of them has a great impact in China, this situation make us have a reflective thinking about it. A helpful courseware for teaching is determined crucially by educational thoughts and teaching approach implied in the courseware, although it may be affected by the techniques of design and levels of courseware users.This topic introduces concept and development about multimedia-CAI in China. It discusses not only the peculiarity and major theories of CAI, but also its realistic significance. It mainly analyses the application and evaluation of chemistry multimedia-CAI in junior high school and try to find a key to improve CAI in future.It helps students observe and analysis laboratory of chemistry better, understand the principle of abstraction, micro world, recognize the procedure of abstraction of chemical. It descript processing about multimedia CAI in chemistry field.While making some courseware, it's based on theory of constructivism, taken using air for the example, maken a CAI and oxygen of abstraction program on internet. At the same time combine it with teaching in class using Authorware making a CAI program, making a virtual laboratory, based on studying and learning by themselves. It describe the whole process about selecting subject, designing subscription of class, writing documents, collecting material, integrating the program, testing and publishing.
