| Along with the development of society and science,People is required to improve their ability of mathematics .The traditional teaching of mathematics can't satisfy the demand of the learners yet,who want to obtain mathematical ability. The new social environment asks everyone to have appropriate knowledge of mathematics so as to have the ability to solve Problems of daily life as well as society, to think mathematically,to raise ability of thought and to enrich methods of it. This thesis is based on understanding and analysis of educational theory of Freudenthal's thought of mathematics education. It does analytical and Practical research on mathematics teaching in middle school in an effort to provide the thought and approach for reference. The intention is to Promote the students to study mathematics efficiently,to master it comprehensively and to use it properly. At the same time,it also offers some constructive suggestions to the present mathematics teaching reformation.This paper is composed of six parts, namely the Introduction, the significance of studying Freudenthal's thought of mathematics education, the basic content of the thought, the influence of this thought on world education reform, the application of the thought to math-teaching in China, and the attempting discussion of Freudenthal's thought of mathematics education.The Introduction is a brief introduction to the life of the Holland mathematician, Mr. Freudenthal, and his contribution to mathematics education.The first chapter is to expound the significance of Freudenthal's thought of mathematics education.The second chapter is to analyze Freudenthal's thought of mathematics education in brief, and summarize four principles: realistic mathematics, mathematization, thinking and recreation.The next two chapters are case studies, the intention of which is to test the efficiency and practical value of Freudenthal's thought of mathematics education.The last chapter is to discuss the practical application of Freudenthal's thought of mathematics education. By probing into the practical application of mathematical modeling and modern education technology under Freudenthal's thought of mathematics education, this chapter intends to put forward effective suggestions and measures in the current math education reform. This part is the final aim of the paper. From the current situation, the paper is to offer some ideas and suggestions with regard to the textbooks and teachers, along with the intention of arousing more people's concern with mathematics education, and getting more investments and suggestions from bore people. |
