Classroom is a special social stage, a formal place of social activities, a whole of energy and vitality. It contains complex construction , situation, interaction, and is of fresh life orientation;it is situated in special time and space, a process composed of a set of interrelated interaction produced by situation, and has rich connotations and multiple manifestation modes.The behavior in university classroom teaching and learning discussed in this thesis refers to the interaction in classroom-teaching between college teachers and students or between students, briefly speaking, the social behavior in the university classroom. The author observes on the spot the teacher-and-student behavior during the university classroom-teaching;in the university classroom, teachers control the discourse rights of classroom-teaching and make use of power to master classroom. Control is the sociological nature of teachers' behavior, and students are basically in a positive position and silence is the most common obedience means of students;the interaction between students is rare in the classroom, and psychological similarity and forgiveness of students can lead to special interaction;teaching is productive, so students will adopt various strategies to respond, even to clear up the excessive powerful control of teachers. Therefore, teaching is always a process during which power of teachers and students frictions and negotiates. The observation shows that there are differences in many teachers and students'behavior in liberal arts classroom and science classroom.Teaching in university classroom is not made up of simple surface phenomena, but of comprehensive > complex construction, the behavior in university classroom teaching and learning shows the characteristic of sociality. From the sociological perspective, classroom-teaching of university can be seen as "the process in which university teachers and students of certain cultural features produces social behavior concerning specific contents according to a certain mode in a certain time and space."The social elements that affect various behaviors of teachers and students in university classroom are as follows: the social status of university teachers^ the degree of satisfaction to career and the courses taught have influence on the teaching;the role change > learning value ^ significant others and peer group have different effects on students'classroom behavior. As is above shown, any phenomenon occurred in the classroom is the reflection of society and culture, and is closely related to the issues outside the classroom.Teaching is closely examined in terms of the operation of social power, which makes researchers obtain a kind of critical and recollecting spirit and then make themselves in a clear state to be aware of the complex teaching issues and make the research explainable to the reality. By the reexamination of the daily classroom life which is regarded as taking for granted by educational practicers such as teachers and students, the educational teaching life that teachers and students turn a blind eye to and teachers and students are "separated" to cut through the unreasonable and even power relationships, which supplies the new strongpoint for establishing the conversationak negotiating> >. really democratic teacher-student relationship.
