The study investigated the characteristic of job satisfaction and organizational commitment and the relationship between job satisfaction, organizational commitment and turnover intention among a sample of university faulty by means of questionnaire. Job satisfaction divides into six dimensions: nature of work,leader,colleague,pay,condition,promote.Organizational commitment divides into three dimensions: continuance commitment, normative commitme-nt,affective commitment.Through the t test ,F test, correlation analysis regression analysis,relation model, we found out the basic status of job satisfaction and organizational commitment among university faulty,the relationship of t-hree variables.The results showed that:(1)There are significant differences on job satisfaction in demography va-riables.Unmarried teachers have higher levels of leader,condition,promote than married teachers.There are significant differences on leader and pay amon-g university faulty that they have different educational levels.The teachers that they are from 30-39 and from 40-49 years old have the lowest score.Prele-ctor,vice.professor and professor have the lowest score.The teachers that have worked for 11-20 years have the lowest score too.(2)There are significant differences on organizational commitment in some demography variables.Male have higher conitnuance commitment than f-male.Vice.professor and professor have higher affective commitment than pr-eletor and assistant.There is no difference on organizational commitment in marriage,age,the kind of job,the time of work.(3)A significant relationship was found between job satisfaction and organizational commitment.Job satisfaction have a greater effect on turnover intention than organizational commitment.Satisfaction with the nature of job a-nd satisfaction with the pay are the important factors to impact on turnover i-ntention.
