The author has made a conclusion that there is deficiency of usability and reproducibility of motor learning strategy, which based on the related investigation of undergraduate who majored in physical education in HeNan province. The reason lead to is that students have no chance accepting training systematically on learning strategy. The research on motor learning strategy is still on the first stage based on the review of related literature. undoubtedly, it is conflict with the requirement of quantity education. The primary key to contradiction is to teach students the way of learning. In consideration of the special requirement of motor learning, the author expected that the students will not only learn the technique but also learn how to learn through 18 teaching hours of imagery training.Imagery plays a primary role in motor learning. A sequence of cognitive activities, such as perceptive activities, further process to retell the motor information, encode, retrieve information is by the medium of visualized information. At present, motor imagery training has complete system of theory and application. There has been many research from the view of teaching and made great achievement. However, what they have made cannot satisfy the requirement of quality education .The purpose of research is to make students learn to learn by teaching them the motor learning strategy.The experimental design in this article is according to the instructional requirement, general process of imagery training and the general instructional schedule of long jump. The method of experimental design is two levels of signal factor. The experiment lasts 18 teaching hours for the undergraduates who majored in physical education in HeNan University. We evaluated the level of students in related physical consitution, technique of long jump and general ability of imagery .The result of independent-samples T test shows that all the students are at the same level before the experiment. Quasi-experiment provided good basic for following experiment by revising and perfecting the design of instructional experiment.
