Modern information technology has proved a great impetus to the reform and development of education, and also provided a new approach to the development of school education in minority regions of Chongqing. Therefore, it is of vital importance for us to understand the current situation and problems in educational informationizaiton there and to explore ways to promote it, the most important one of which is by sharing modern information technology with developed regions.This paper investigates the educational informationization problems in minority regions of Chongqing through questionnaires and interviews. Causes of the problems are analyzed and problem-solving tactics are also proposed, in the hope of offering help in informationization in these regions.Firstly, the author carried out a sample survey on the middle and primary schools' educational informationization in five minority regions in Chongqing from the following five dimensions: facilities, educational information resources, technical application of information, educational informationization personnel and educational informationization policy. Results reveal the following problems: 1) the facilities are insufficient and outdated, and the disparity between urban and rural areas is great; 2) the construction of teaching information resources lags behind, and the high-quality teaching resources which are available for teachers and students of minority regions are rare; 3) educational informationization specialized personnel are in short supply,...
