Sciences have been giving birth to the crises of human-beings as well as benefiting them in their practical life. As a result, sciences have been concealing the "understanding" of instruction. So, the instruction is becoming more and more operationalistic and technicalized. The alienation of instruction forces us to reflex upon the current instruction. The philosophical hermeneutics, concerning human-beings' ontological being and focusing on "understanding", offers us a new approach to this reflection. This study will try to constitute a new instruction from a philosophical hermeneutic perspective, and account for the connotation, features, basic points and practical values of theinstruction systematically, in order to offer some inspiring suggestions to the current instructional and educational reform. The whole study could be divided into six sections:The first section: preface, in which I will introduce the historical background of Teaching for Understanding and the significance of studying it, as well as the situation of the relevant studies abroad and the outline of the whole study. The second section: understanding and the meaning of instruction, in which I will briefly introduce the process of the development of the hermeneutics and account for the internal relationship between understanding and teaching. The third section: the concealing of the "understanding" in teaching and the analysis of the relevant cause.
