Hans Georg-Gadmer's Philosophical Hermeneutics is widely used in languistics, aesthetics, history, law and other humanity science, and it also provides a new theory dimension of literature interpretation since it appears. In Philosophical Hermeneutics, the meaning generation theory of the sense of literature composition in the action of literature acceptance and understanding gives current school reading teaching a very important guidance and direction.In this essay, we analyse traditional reading and discuss the meaning generation problems in the teaching of school reading comprehension, according to meaning generation in Philosophical Hermeneutics. We also connect the curricular standard of school Chinese language and the current teaching practice. We show our essay from these three theories: the preconception, the fusion of horizons and the interlocution, and re-recognize the essence of reading. With the result that can help us to get a new step in reading teaching.
