Chemical laboratory capability refers to personality psychologicalcharacteristics,which on the basis of chemical descriptive knowledge andprocedural knowledge,individual uses chemical reagents,laboratoryapparatus,equipment and devices to successfully complete the task ofchemical experiments.Chemical laboratory capacity includes the capacity todetect and make experimental problems,the capacity to guess and assume,thecapacity to design experimental programmes,the capacity to implementexperimental programmes,the capacity to draw experimental conclusions,thecapacity to apply experimental methods and results,and the capacity toevaluate and introspect.According to the six elements(except for the capacityto implement experimental programmes),we prepared a questionnaire to teststudents'chemical laboratory capacitiy,the test results show that:1)Currentlythe chemical laboratory capacity of high school students is generally low andthe development of evry element of the chemical laboratory capacity is notbalanced,of which the abilities of suspecting and assuming are higher,and theabilities of bringing up the problems,evaluating and introspecting are lower.2)The chemical laboratory capacities of boys and girls exit significantdif.ferences in total.To further understand the chemical laboratory capacity of high schoolstudents,especially operational capacity,observation skills,ability tocooperate with the division,the experimental process control and adjustment.capabilities,the ability to handle unexpected events,as well as the ability toinnovate,we have studied the performance of 1 2 students experimental。activities.Research shows that:1)students experiment with a longer time.2)the capacities to implement experimental programmes of boys and girls exitdifferences.3)Experimental operational skills are generalizational....
