As an important part of college teachers and student management team,counselors is the backbone of college moral education and ideological work,the mentor and guide of the college students' healthy growth.So,the level of the counselors' quality and positivity can affect the students' quality heavily.In order to improve the counselors' quality and positivity,many universities have started using scientific ways to do the performance appraisal of the counselors and have made great results.But over the years,Shenyang University of Chemical Technology has not established the performance appraisal system for counselors,no matter the work is done well or badly.Of course,this situation will affect the counselors' work initiative heavily.Based on this,the main purpose of this paper is to develop a set of performance appraisal system with high impartiality,objectivity and operability for the counselors in Shenyang University of Chemical Technology.The paper is design to supply scientific basis of selection,appointment,incentive and restraint for the counselors in Shenyang University of Chemical Technology,and then,optimize the counselor team,play the counselors' potential and improve their overall quality,as a result,promote the training quality of the students in Shenyang University of Chemical Technology.The paper is divided into 7 chapters.The first chapter is foreword,which proposed the problems the paper will research,pointed out the paper's idea and content,gave a clear research method of this paper.The second chapter is an overview of performance appraisal theory,which is the theory basis of this paper.In this chapter,the author expounded the connotation,function,process,content and several commonly used methods of performance appraisal.The third chapter is the introduction of Shenyang University of Chemical Technology,such as the history,the organizational structure,the setup of schools and departments,the teachers,the instructional resources and the future development,etc.The purpose is to enable readers to have a better understanding of the research object.The fourth chapter is analysis of the existing performance appraisal in Shenyang University of Chemical Technology and the problems in it.The fifth chapter is the design of the performance appraisal system of the counselors in Shenyang University of Chemical Technology.This is the core part of this paper.After clearing the guiding ideology,basic principles,and objectives of the design of the performance appraisal system for counselors in Shenyang University of Chemical Technology,the author defined the performance appraisal methods,designed the indicators and scores,weight,complaints and feedback of the system.The sixth chapter is the implementing of the performance appraisal system.In this chapter,the author proposed safeguard measures to make sure the system can be implemented effectively.The seventh chapter is the conclusion of the paper.
