With the improvement of the emphasis on higher vocational education,the running conditions of higher vocational colleges have been improved,and the social status of higher vocational education has been improved to a certain extent.However,compared with the attention to teaching and teachers,the attention of Higher Vocational Colleges and universities to administrators is generally insufficient.As managers and service providers in higher vocational colleges for teaching and research,administrative staffs play more and more important roles in higher vocational colleges.At present,higher vocational colleges are focused on the management and training of teachers and researchers,ignoring the management and assessment of administrative staff.As the main body of the management work of higher occupation education,administrative staffs did not get enough attention.This article selects Gansu Vocational College of Energy and Chemical Industry as the research object,and analyzes the present situation of performance appraisal system,through consulting a large number of literature and questionnaire survey research methods,such as objective management theory and motivation theory.Through research and analysis,it argues that the current performance evaluation of administrative staff in Gansu Vocational College of Energy and Chemical Industry has some problems: the lack of attention to the performance appraisal work;the lack of a reasonable performance appraisal system;evaluation index set is not clear;the assessment work of a mere formality;lack of reasonable supervision and feedback mechanism.To solve these problems,combined with the Gansu province to promote the higher occupation education concept,according to the current development of Gansu Vocational College of Energy and Chemical Industry,this paper argues that setting up the modern concept of performance appraisal,establishing a scientific and reasonable evaluation system,enforcing the implementation of effective organization,improving the training system,and developing performance appraisal work incentives for administrative personnel can help Gansu Vocational College of Energy and Chemical Industry have a better development in future.
