Change Teacher Culture In Action Research

Curriculum reform is not merely a process of implementing the curriculum planning faithfully, in which teacher culture and teacher's practice is a key factor which restrict curriculum implementation Therefore, developing the more immoral teacher culture is the key step of curriculum reform.. In this paper, the researcher in university will take action research to change teacher culture cooperated with the teacher in elementary and junior high school.There are four part in this paper. In the first part, we make certain the conception of teacher culture and point out the necessity of changing teacher culture.In the second part, we conclude the research at home and abroad about changing teacher culture, and analysis the condition of teacher culture in china now . Based on it , we try to point out the trend and way to go for the teacher culture of china .In the third part, is the process of taking action research to change teacher culture case-study for one year in the Z school which is the one from 1 to 9 grade in the suburb of Shanghai city . We have taken some measures , such as : creating the atmosphere of discussing freely ; taking description to help the staff teach reflectively in the school ; advancing the collaboration between the teacher .In the fourth part , we conclude the process of action research and find the question to research further . Our conclusion is : the description is effective for the teacher to improve reflective thinking , but it is more important to dialog with the theory of education for teacher to go further ; keeping the balance between the collectivism and the individualism is also important ; the helper from university should have the ability in finding the question in the process of teaching for discussion , and have the academic ability in subject teaching .
