This investigation describes the primary school teachers' impression of occupation burden, the changes of the teachers' burden comes along with the Curriculum Reform, and indicates the impact factors and their influences. Based on this, this thesis suggested the researchers of education, the managers of the primary schools, the educational agencies, and the teachers to modulate their action, attitude and the way of work in order to optimize the the teachers' working load, more effective and more easier.This research uses questionnaire, interview, observation as main investigation tools, and the covariance and contrast study for the dealing of data. The researcher has investigated 3 schools in Hunan Province and 7 schools in Shanghai, issued more than 300 questionnaires, interviewed more than 70 individuals, and listened to class-teaching for 9 times. Because of the diversity in the management and culture of the schools in those two districts, the questionnaires issued in the two districts are different and the way that I investigate the school of the two districts also have some difference.Chapter 3 is the core of the thesis. Section 2 described the basic information of the teachers and how they regarded the Curriculum Reform, their career and the schools which they were working in. In this part, the researcher pointed out that the teachers applauded the principles of the Curriculum Reform, but are perplexed how to "do"; most of the teachers in the two districts have a passion for their careers and the schools in which they are working, particularly the teachers in Shanghai. Section 4 in this chapter answers the question "Are the teachers in the primary school tired?" "which part of the teacher is the most tired ?",and "Have the loads of the teachers' changed?" The conclusion is that the teachers in the primary schools are tired, and the group of the teacher in shanghai, the teachers in charge of a class, the teachers teaching Chinese ,Math , English , are more tired. The teachers who love their school and their job better, feel easier about their job than the others. Section 4 of this chapter analyzed which factors impacted the change of the load of teachers and described how it happened.In chapter 4, the researcher pointed out that in order to optimized the loads of the teachers', researchers of education should not ask for too much improvement in short time and must study how to "do" to realize the ideas of the Curriculum Reform; and the teachers should adapt themselves to this change and should think it critically in order to operating work creatively; the managers of the primary schools should pay attention to cultivate a comfortable, democratic environment, and adopt reasonable encourage method and...
