Based on the new curriculum reform, the thesis aims to have a look into teachers'receptivity to the new curriculum reform and the main factors affect teachers' receptivityto curriculum reform in Middle school of Guangdong province by survey and interview.The thesis also makes some suggestions on how to enhance the teachers' receptivity tonew curriculum in Middle school of Guangdong province.The main research findings are as follows:1. The research indicates the teachers' receptivity to new curriculum in Middleschool of Guangdong province is not ideal in whole.2. The method of evaluation to teacher is not perfect and objective. Through surveyand interview we find teachers doubt the method of evaluation. And they consider themethod of evaluation cannot reflect the teachers' genuine job level.3. The support to curriculum reform is not enough. From the research, we know thatparents do not comprehend the curriculum reform, so they do not support it. Parents onlycare about scores children got in the tests; teachers got limited help from educationistsand Teacher Training Center; the teaching materials can not satisfy the needs of teachers.4. The receptivity to curriculum reform of teachers in different grades is not alike.Teachers in different grades have different requests to students, so it maybe causeteachers in different grades have different receptivity to curriculum reform.5,The receptivity to curriculum reform of teachers is relatively steady. It will not beaffected by fluctuation of teachers' technical,length of teaching,school' rank andlocation.Basing on the research, the thesis proposes some suggestions on how to enhance theteachers' receptivity to new curriculum:1. Setting up scientific teachers' evaluation system.2. Strengthening teachers' training.3. Setting up adequate supporting system.
