Studies On The Agricultural Vocational Education Of Xiangtan Country

The paper discussed how improve the development of the agricultural vocational education of Xiangtan, analysed the essence, the intension, the characteristic and the position of the agricultural vocational education, analysed the present situation of the agricultural vocational education of Xiangtan Country, and induced its peculiarity and purpose, found that it had a long history and a strong base, but the development was very slow. The paper considered the development of the agricultural vocational education of Xiangtan Country was insufficient, for example: inadequate knowledge, not enough supplies, the government functions was deviate, the teaching resource and means was very backward etc, then analysed the reasons for the problems and pointed out the favourable conditions for developing the agricultural vocational education of Xiangtan Country. The government must have a clear aim, change its functions, make laws, formulate a policy, allocate more funds, whip up opinion, regulate the structure between the general education and the vocational education. The educational departments must have a firm conviction of giving service to the country, the agriculture and the farmer, consolidate the educational resource, optimize mechanism for running a school, bring forth new ideas in education.
