Study On Moral Elements And Ways Of Expression In Textbook

The natural education is a unity of intellectuality and virtue. Education should be a process of imparting knowledge and moralizing virtue as well. As an essential part of schooling education, the textbook takes on a unique mission in propagating culture and morality by teachers' teaching and student's learning intentionally or unintentionally. As a result, textbook is the carrier not only of the knowledge but also of the morality.Choosing the primary school "Language" textbook published by Beijing Normal University Publishing House as a sample, the thesis is going to analyze the moral elements and count up their ways of presentation involved in "Language" textbook in order to clarify how these moral elements present, then some conclusions and some suggestions are put forward according to the analysis and statistic, so as to offer opportunities for scholars who pay attention to moral education and teachers who study moral education from the perspective of textbook, and make better use of the educational value of the textbook.The thesis is made up of five parts: Introduction; the firstpart—rational discussion; the second part—the design of the research; the third part—text analysis; the fourth part—conclusion and suggestions.The logic of research goes as follows.
