On The Nature Of Morality Education

There have been existing heated debates on the nature of morality education in the field of education for a long time. This thesis expounds that morality education is based on cultivating sound personality and aims at constructing spiritual foundation, which is the nature of morality education.Part One formulizes the relative concepts concerning the nature of morality education, including delimitation of morality and education, the analysis of the interrelations of these two and then the formulization of the nature of human, considering the two states of human's development as the basis of morality education and the need for morality is a mode of individual existence. From the perspective of the evolution of morality education at all ages and in all places, the nature of morality education consists of the cultivation of sound personality and construction of spiritual foundation.Part two analyzes the nature of morality education is based on cultivating sound personality. Personality and personality education are delimitated. It puts forward the idea that the basic ethical regulations are the basis of cultivation of sound personality and that virtual ethics is the value guideline for the sound personality.
