The course theory of our Chinese new elementary education is to break the teaching method that is keen on teaching and inclusion , and to set up the teaching pattern which the students will take active part in by themselves, then teachers and students will interact with each other to learn collaboratively and inquiry innovation. And to cultivate those revolutionary talents who can adapt the era and meet to the necessity of the society's development. Because of this recognition, It seems very important to develop an "self-regulated-inquiry-collaboration" construction and practical investigation of classroom geography teaching mode.The thesis bases on the study of developing the actualities and development of collaborative learning and inquiry teaching in and abroad, which determines the use of constructivism and collaborative learning theory and regards "inquiry teaching" process and the basic theory of the new "Geography Course Standard" which is brought forward by J.Dewey and J.J.Schwab etc. as "self-regulated -inquiry-collaboration" the basic theory of teaching mode. It uses the documentary, plan and action studying method to study the interrelated theory and practical problems about mode teaching more systematically. The main contents include: research problems about the theory gist of mode construct, the meaning of the mode, the teaching essence and inquiry teaching's character, and elaborateness of the mode's construction, teaching procedure, teaching strategy and the way to judge student's ability of inquiry in teaching, Moreover, it also explains the use of mode teaching with examples.After one year's practical teaching, it demonstrated that the enforcement of "self-regulatcd -inquiry-collaboration" teaching mode can not only change the students' ways in geography learning, motivate their interesting, train their habits in inquiry, analsying and dealing with the information; improve their trouble consciousness and collaborative consciousness, and the ability to inquiry problems by themselves, but also can produce and learn scientific inquiry method, change the teaching ideas and actions of the teachers, thus promoted their teaching level and accomplish the purpose of making classroom teaching construclion better and the cultivation of student's revolutionary ideation.
