The21st century is the era of knowledge economy, increasingly aggravated talent competition, social higher and more stringent requirements of human development, there is a growing concern of personalized and diversification of higher education personnel training. In the process of higher education teaching, personality and quality of the overall development of the students, to improve future talents mental qualities and physical process of a great relationship with the students’ self-learning ability. Currently, the new curriculum standards have been fully implemented reform in college sports teaching mode, to enable students to real sports learning to play the main, the establishment of a new teaching model to improve the quality of physical education teaching to foster students’ ability to learn, has become a hot issue throughout the sports world. For a long time, although many parts of the construction of school sports teaching reform experiment teaching mode, but can effectively guide the College Physical education, improve the quality of teaching of physical education teaching mode is not much, especially when most of the teaching mode is single mode, students passively accept the study, only emphasized the practice test. Demonstration by teachers in the teaching, the students unified practice seriously neglected the dominant position of students, hindering the development of the student’s personality, while limiting the performance of the play of the student movement.With the development of the times, people have the ability of independent learning, and this ability is reflected in the self and the team. In this paper the theoretical basis of the previous the valuable sports teaching experience with other outstanding teachers, through self and team self-learning ability, integration of independent learning and collaborative learning, the establishment of an independent collaboration sports teaching mode. Sports teaching mode independent collaboration is the first meeting and then known teaching mode. Compared with the traditional model, the subjectivity of student learning is more prominent, the first experience to the team process, the use of the exchange between the students and the game, in order to gain knowledge and building capacity.The subjects use experimental demonstration study samples object of college students, divided into experimental group and the conventional group. The teaching mode of experiment group and control group in their use of traditional teaching mode, to complete the survey of autonomous learning ability of students after the experiment, the release, and subsequent analysis of valid questionnaires, found that the use of cooperative autonomy in college physical education teaching model is feasible to play its unique role:can improve student learning subject status and learning interest; improve students’ unity and coordination ability and awareness; promote students’ interpersonal exchanges; improve students’ social adaptation ability; culture students and lifelong sports consciousness. The mode is to improve students’ abilities and development, the reform of college sports, provided a new way of thinking.
