The Study Of The Values Of Graduates

First, the present study attempts to discuss the implications , the structure, the form and development of values theoretically, values of graduates in contemporary China is the concepts graduates get from goals,means and regulations. This concepts have exert influence on the behaviors of individual graduates and the public. Goal values includes money and material-orientation, positon honor-orientation, work achievement-orientation, famlily and marriage-orientation, transcent target nature-orientation;Means values inclues chance-orientation and knowledge-orientation,and regulation values includes public-orientation,law and regulatin-orientation and moral conscience-orientation. The results of the present study show as follows:(1) The total result of the questionnaire shows that the value-orientation of contemporary graduates is mainly transcent target nature-oriented in goal values.Means values attaches importance to knowledge while regulation value shifts more emphasis on moral conscience.(2) The result of the questionnaire shows there are similarities and differences concerning the students' values with regard to gender, work experience, major, grade, places of the family and the structure of family.
