Based on an open-ended questionnaire, overviews of former studies and a test of one small sample, a theoretical hypothesis was put forward in this study. Thus the Occupational Well-being of Primary School Teacher Questionnaire was designed and the reliability and validity were tested out. Then the status and characteristics of the Occupational Well-being of Primary School Teacher was investigated through the formal questionnaire. At last five suggestions were proposed to promote the level of Occupational Well-being of primary school teacher, according to the characteristics of the Soochow primary school teacher.The main results of this study are as follows: (1) the self-made questionnaire had high reliability and fair validity. By the method of factor analysis, the research found that the primary school teachers 'occupational well-being are constructed by eight dimensions: leader relation, health, occupational motivation, efficiency, colleague relation, student relation, job passion, job affect; (2) The effect of backgrounds variables in part of dimensions was statistically significant. (3) There are significant negative correlations between the turnover intention and occupational well-being. The higher occupational well-being, the lower turnover intention.
