The research investigates the students'learning ability through the perspective of expertise. And it investigates the classroom which is the main channel that students develop their learning ability. Then it investigates the differences of novice, proficient and expert students concerning their classroom learning strategy, classroom learning motivation and classroom learning style.The result indicates that:(1)the classroom learning strategic level of expert, proficient and novice students has a trend of ranging from high to low, also the varying range between expert and proficient students is larger than the range between proficient and novice students;(2)the level of deep motivation and achievement motivation of expert students is remarkably higher than proficient students and novice students, but it reverses in the level of surface motivation;(3)all three just have distinct difference in the active learning sty le;(4)no vice students'surface motivation,deep motivation and achievement motivation have notable and positive correlation with their classroom learning strategy. The surface motivation is an effective forecasting factor of novice students' classroom learning strategy;(5)proficient students' surface motivation, deep motivation and achievement motivation have notable and positive correlation with their classroom learning strategy.The deep motivation has remarkable forecasting effect to proficient students' classroom learning strategy;(6)expert students'deep and achievement motivation have notable and positive correlation with their classroom learning strategy. The deep and achievement motivation have remarkable forecasting effect to expert students' classroom learning strategy;(7)the different students'classroom learning style have notable correlation with their classroom learning strategy. Through the analysis of regression, it shows that the different type of learning style has the different forecasting effect to different type of students' classroom learning strategy;(8)during the course of developing middle school students'learning ability, we will educate and instruct purposefully according to the characteristics of different kinds of students in order to accelerate the process of shaping novice and proficient students into expert students.
