The problem of education funds is "a bottle neck" that restricts the education development of our country, and also a problem that most educators pay close attention to. With the continuously perfecting of our country's market economy system, and the development of the education system reform, the investment to the educational fund has developed diversely. Therefore, it stimulates schools to collect money by themselves and this becomes a tendency. At present it is an innovation raised by themselves to study the subject schools raising money by themselves. The research is about the problems that exists in the schools investment and also shows author's thinking to these problems and the counter plan, hoping to get more extensive opinions so as to deepen the research.This research adopts the research method of the individual cases inquisition. Using quantitative as well as qualitative way. The research technique is mainly interviewing and questioning on paper.The research is done in BaYanNao'er City Inner Mongolia, where the development of economy is not very fast. This research reflects the present educational condition in this area. The research deeply analyzes activity of the objects investigated, and research the study of the objects investigated deeply and completely.This paper consists of four parts. Part One: The present condition of self-raised funds. It looks back the process of ideological understanding of the school self-raised funds in our country, the history of educational investment system, the basic structure and the present condition of the educational funds. Part Two: The investigation on individual cases of the self-raised funds. Through an investigation on the funds of three schools and an analysis about the general educational funds in BaYanNao'er City, we concluded that self-raised funds has become one of the most important sources to insure the development of the school and a guarantee of the teacher's welfare. Part Three: An analysis about school self-raised funds. According to the investigation on individual cases, the author canalizes the ways of raising funds, the economical and social benefits they bring and the existing problems qualitatively and quantitatively, points out expressions of the benefits and theexisting problems. Part Four: Conclusion and suggestions. The last part summarizes the main points of this research:1. The self-raised funds not only benefit the school economically and socially, but also help improve the education quality.2. Raising funds for school must be conducted in the light of local specific condition.3. Face the existent problems, strengthen the function of financial support and macro-control of the government, perfect legal construction.4. Further adjust the present structure of funds raising, try hard to find new ways of raising funds.5. Strengthen the management of educational funds, raise the using efficiency of the funds.
