Person-Organization Fit(POF) is a new research direction in the area of educational management. The research showed that the relationship between POF and work performance is instability; and the effect of self-efficacy as variable in the relationship of POF and work performance is scarcely researched. The teachers as subjects in this kind of research are often few in bibliographic search. In this research, we mainly research the effect of middle school teachers’ POF to work performance.In this research, we first studied the existing research, then, we conceived the possibility of relationship between POF and work performance in middle school teachers, and we used questionnaires which contain the variables of POF、 self-efficacy and work performance to collect the data of middle school teachers. We analyzed the data of 315 middle school teachers, use the means of analysis of paired samples.At last, we have two conclusions: first, middle school teachers’ POF have positive anticipation to work performance; second, detectable self-efficacy can adjust the relationship to a certain degree. Depend on the conclusions, in the middle school’s educational management, if we need to improve our teachers’ work performance and the POF to school, the material and doable way is that middle school should use the theory of POF to instruct the management of education in middle school, and conceive the work platform of teachers’ rational communication, take measures to import high POF teachers to middle school, enhance the level of skill guidance to young teachers, expand the areas of job directions, create a fair and efficiency evaluation and promotion. The teacher need to choose a middle school that has high POF to himself, or can communicate in his organization, and enhance the POF to school, change himself or advance the self-efficacy to facilitate the identify with organization.
