Researchful Study is a learning activity in which students choose and decide on the special subject under the teacher's instruction and solve problems with the knowledge, which they get actively in a way , which is like scientific research. It is an important act of the state's course and teaching method reform to meet the developmental need of new century. Meanwhile, the reform is also a result of following the world's teaching reform tendency.Today, countries all around the world set off educational reform which are similar to the Researchful Study of our country to meet the challenge of knowledge economy. Most of the areas where lessons are given in Chinese have already carried out Researchful Study in the elementary education. But in the west areas where lessons are given in Mongolian, it has just been started .The direct reasons why the Researchful Study is developing slowly in these areas are: backwardness of sense lack of attention, insufficient investment, having not complete set of implementing scheme (plan) and the experiences which can be taken in. Therefore,this thesis analyzed and contrasted the Mongolian and Japanese language and mainly introduced the successful experience and lesson of Japan's Comprehensive Study Time, which is similar to our Researchful Study and being launched now, as well as the thinking characteristics of Mongolian students and Japanese students.In the 1990s, Japan offered a comprehensive practical course called "Comprehensive Study Time" to suit the need of development to meet the challenge of society and to develop the students' " ability for existence" .The subject of Comprehensive Study Time is mainly from International comprehensive educationand the education of information, environment, charity and health. It is also from the subject in which children are interested. It is from the courses of local and school characteristic. It is very successful in curriculum, the ways of students' patterns of organizing the teaching and teachers' training as well as the establishment of final evaluating system. And its guiding ideology and implementing strategy is fit for the areas of our country where lessons are given in Mongolian.On the basis of analyzing and contrasting the similarities of Mongolian and Japanese education, drawing on the successful experience and taking in the warning lessons, the course inquired into feasibility and implementing strategy in many aspects like curriculum, ways of learning, teaching methods, steps of implementing and evaluating ways. This paper has the valve of consult in launching the Researchful Study in the areas where the lessons are given in Mongolian.
