Under-achievement means that students could not achieve the expected result under the normal school educational system. It becomes because includes the school education factor, home education factor, the social milieu factor and oneself factors, but don't include weak-minded, emotional obstacle, visual and auditory problems obstacle, dyskinesia and learning disability. All these causes do not work separately, but together to result in under-achievement.Researches show that the number of under-achievers is really large in China. If we take only 7% of the junior schools' students all of China, the result is more than 4 million. What's more, most of them are in faraway rural areas of China. For under-achievement can result in the relearning, or even the stop of the schooling, so these under-achievers are the majority of those who have to relearn or stop of the schooling. It's significant for us to study the reasons for under-achievement.The subjects under the study are all the under-achievers, from grade 3 of XX junior school in Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous County. By analyzing their school performances and the causes for it, the study offers some suggestions. The results of the study show that these students' learning is inefficient. For the schooling only brings them failure, shame, and even hate, so they feel bad or even despairing about their learning. All these lead to their trying to escape form the school. We also found that the main cause for the last result is our educational system, under the present educational model, teachers usually think that it is the students who need adjust themselves to follow the teachers' teaching, but not the teachers to follow the students' ways of learning. So the keys to improve under-achievement are not decided by the teachers' ability, but their willingness.The suggestions to improve under-achievement include: firstly, analyze the causes carefully, and then offer some suitable strategies and psychological help to these under-achievers; secondly, by improving the teaching contents and methodology, we can stimulate students motivation, develop their own personal characteristics, so that they can master the difficult points and difficult points in teaching and thus prevent the under-achievement e from coming into being; thirdly, renew the educational notion so that the educational meet the students real needs; fourthly, better the relationship between the teachers and students, and students to students; at last, by improving the social conditions and the family conditions, we can improve the outer surroundings for students' learning.
