With the promulgation of New Curriculum Standard, Chinese teaching in the middle school has achieved great success. In order to fulfill the target of exploring study, the majority of the teachers create the class discussion, which emphasizes the course of the discussion rather than result, without any doubt, it arouses greatly interest in learning Chinese. However, only few teachers, involving too much non-Chinese professional knowledge on nature, politics, law and so on, their discussion created for the class is far from language teaching and literature teaching. The causes resulting in this phenomenon are not understanding the idea of the New Curriculum, students' wrong understanding to text, teacher's reading principle and reading level, the promotion of modern media, the ability of teacher's controlling the class and evaluating direction to Chinese generalization, seek some measures to solve the problem, make Chinese teaching return to its nature and improve student's general ability in learning Chinese.
