Reading activity is the most basic learning method and activity, reading teaching idea and teaching approach are required for reading teaching on the background of new curriculum reform. 《Standard for the Curriculum》 says: "The focus on reading teaching is to cultivate the students ability of feeling , comprehension,appreciation and evaluation. " This essay is directed against the status que of traditional Chinese teaching. It proposes that Impressionism Critical method should be introduced into Chinese Reading teaching in middle school, so that it can instruct the reading of literary works. Reading teaching should attach importance to the principal part of students. Teachers should pay attention to the students' specific feeling and experiences, which can't be replaced by teachers.Based on the realization above. This essay will develop exposition from the following aspects.Introduction introduces the present situation of Chinese reading teaching in middle school to lead to impressionism critical approach. The Impressionism critical concept can be merged into reading teaching. By paying more attention and attaching more importance to the students' subjective feelings and experiences making students the principle part in class teaching. We can change the teaching atmosphere and improve teaching effects.Part 1 introduces the investigation and analysis of current situation of Chinese reading teaching in middle school will be presented. Discover the problem and seek ways to make up and correct them. Currently, the problems existing in teaching is the students' lack of enthusiasm in learning. They don't read willingly and are not satisfied with the present teaching methods, while impressionism critical theory can remedy the defect. Part 2 introduces Li Jian wu's Impressionism critical method. Analyses it in three aspects, from which we try to find out the essence of impressionism criticism. The three aspects are as follows: the first one is the adventure of spirit in the masterpiece, the second is the criticism based on the premise of literary appreciation, the third is the criticism with the aim of exploring aesthetic feeling. Part 3 this is the focus of the whole essay. We will try our best to explore the junction between Chinese reading teaching in middle school and impressionism critical approach, and implement the theory in the concrete teaching case, that is, wring this critical approach to explain specific literary works. There are two aspects concretely: Grasp the intuitive impression of reading literary works and experience the works with enthusiasm, impression of reading literary works with enthusiasm, that is to say, step deeply into the emotion experience.
