At present the new curriculum reform is being performed in Senior Middle School, which reflects students' personality, stresses their self-development and train their comprehensive abilities. The classroom, playing more and more important role as the main place of the reform, is therefore paid close attention to by the educators. However the discipline problems in rural class , which hasn't been well solved so far, is becoming more and more serious, and it has become an obstacle to the reform, so it needs solving as quickly as possible.Frankly speaking, it's very late to study the class discipline in China for only more than ten years. What's worse, in the limited literary works the studies on the discipline in Primary School and Junior School are far more than those on that in Senior Middle School, and the studies based on investigations less than those on theory, let alone the study helpful to the practice. So a project in the essay is put forward after the detailed investigation. The reasons for the breaking discipline are analysed and the suggestions on how to deal with it are made.This essay contains 4 chapters. In the introduction the author expatiates on the studying background and significance and defines the main concept. In the second chapter the author summarizes the studies on the discipline in class both at home and aboard. And the third chapter is about the investigation as well as the analysis of the reasons for the students' disobeying discipline. The last chapter points out some principles as well as several suggestions in three aspects. The headmaster should pass a rule and often supervise the classroom. The teachers ought to improve the teaching and managing abilities and develop harmonious demoncratic and equal relationships between teachers and students. The students need strengthen self-management, self-supervision, self-control and examination to reach the aim of efficient management of the class.
