The high school age is a very important period in one's own life. During this period, students should not only master the technical skills and scientific knowledge needed in the future, but, above all, make themselves developed in an all-round way. Otherwise, most schools and teachers pay much more attention to the students' achievements in their subjects instead of moral education. Geography is a comprehensive subject which is merged natural science with the humanities, it has an incomparable advantage in developing students' morals.The thesis is derived from the newest Chinese and foreign researches, advancing the social phenomenon and current situation in the geography teaching. Meanwhile, it also explores the necessity and feasibility of developing moral education in geography teaching in high school.The paper consists of six parts. In the introduction the writer demonstrates some current social phenomenon and reflects some phenomenon of geography teaching in high school. It also states that emphasizing the moral education in geography teaching is the urgent needs of the times.Chapter One: Chinese and Foreign virtuous teaching target.Chapter Two: Moral theories and methods. It summarizes some important Chinese and foreign theories and methods.Chapter Three: Research and analysis of questionnaire in students' emotional cognition. In this chapter, the paper analyses some students' views and the causes of their attitude, demonstrating the necessity of moral education in high school and the importance of infiltration of moral education into geography.Chapter Four: The goal and advantages of moral education in geography education.Chapter Five: Analysis of moral education contents in geography textbooks in high school.Chapter Six: Infiltration of moral education into geography teaching. In order to put these theories into practice, the writer puts forward that the strategy of moral education gradually infiltrates into geography education from the scientific theories and viewpoints of teachers and students. The strategy of moral education infiltration into geography education embodies in classroom teaching activities, target structure, campus culture and value systems, etc. At the same time, it also points out the complexity of the moral education infiltration into geography education and it will last a very long time.
