The new curriculum standard emphasizes on the exploration of study and science as well. What the students need is not only to acquire both the knowledge and technology, but also to experience the process and method of study. That is, the teachers should substitute the new teaching model, which focuses on the self-study, exploration and communication, for the traditional one, which pay more attention to the result instead of the process. The new curriculum has been comprehensively applied in junior middle school in Jiangxi Province for three years, however, the physics teachers seldom apply the exploration of study to their classes. Furthermore, in the name of the new curriculum, most of the teachers prefer the traditional way of teaching, which focuses on the lecture and practice. It is common for the new bottle with the old wine. But why the teachers can't have classes according to the new curriculum? What should the educators o to guarantee the teaching reform? Through interview and questionnaire, combined with her own teaching experience, in this paper, the author first analyzed and studied both the teachers' and the president's perplexity towards the exploration of study in classes, and then put forward the corresponding strategy.
