The scientific exploration in biology teaching in middle school is the various activities which students can get secondary biological scientific knowledge and understand scientific research methods proactively. During the course of exploration in study, the students can get scientific knowledge initiatively. What's more, this study pattern does contribute a lot to the cultivation of students' scientific inquiry ability and innovation spirit. Meanwhile, the passive study phase of the students' is changed; the concept of integrated development and being life-long learners is strengthened, which, should be important information to the conventional teaching mode. However, there are still many vital problems to be solved when we are in the primary period of exploring and practicing the methods of secondary biology teaching. For example, how to conduct the teaching of scientific inquire? What should be noticed in the process of teaching scientific inquiry? How to cultivate students' scientific inquiry abilities through the application of the scientific explorations? So this paper is directed against these problems which have been carrying on research for two years by me. And there are some results come out.During the normal teaching hours, the teachers should try to encourage the students to participate in various activities of scientific researches, let them master the scientific inquiry process and application strategy step by step. Such as, to inspire the students with interest and teach them to evaluate the questions that the teachers ask; to make assumptions closely relate to the questions and validate these assumptions; to strengthen the practice of the control, variable, packet and record when make plan; to ensure the selections of the material is correct and make analysis about the every step of the implement of the plan; to distinguish the experiment results and get the scientific conclusion; to pay attention to the analysis and innovation during the course of the experiments when refer to the expressions and exchanges. Through these practices, we can promote the students to change the learning methods, and let them change from getting knowledge passively in the conventional teaching into obtaining biological scientific knowledge initiatively by the teaching mode of scientific inquiry and get the initial experience with the scientific process and scientific method. Actually, all the inquiry experiments in the entire middle school biological teaching are controlled experiments. While in the scientific exploration in biology teaching, we should emphasis much on the design of the controlled experiments and the unique variable. According to the analysis and research of the examination in various regions in recent years, I found the four elements of control, variable, packet and record are taking a larger proportion in the scores and they are indispensable content.What's more, by implementing conventional teaching and the scientific inquiry mode teaching in different classes, comparing the final test result, finally I find out that inquiry mode teaching is favorable to the development of students' ability and guide mental or emotional attitudes and values. Base on this research, this paper makes a more intensive study and application of the common simulation experiments.
