Vocational education is a very significant part of modern national education system,and also plays a special important role in the strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education and strenghtening the country through personnel. Developing professional education vigorously is not the set policy but from a long—term perspective. Nowadays,we are facing two major changes in terms of employment and economic development. As is known to all, employment of social labor force needs more skills training, the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure calls for training more skilled persons as well.With the increasingly deepen of marketing developent of Chinese educatiion and mechanism reform ,senior vocational education colleges are facing up to severe chanllenges. Especially those newly—built ones ,if they want to success in the fierce marketing competition,they must follow a pathway of its own characteristic and be accustomed to the demands of the educational marketing development.The first chapter beginning with the tendency of vocational education development,analysed the trend of the global vocational education development,the feature of vocational education in advanced nations and the aspiration to our country.The second chapter made an analysis of status quo,developmental trend of Chinese vocational education,as well as some problems appearing in our nation's vocational education, and got a profound discussion with regard to the stutas quo and reform of Chinese vocational education.The third chapter made a competition analysis using the five—force model in the aspect of vocational education market,and explained the chances and challenges of senior vocational colleges brought about by vocational education marketing.The fourth chapter established the developmental strategy of newly—built senior vocational education colleges on the basis of the fomer analysis.The fifth chapter discussed the implementation of newly—built senior colleges' strategic measures putting emphasis on the following six aspects,such as production, study, and research ,human resource management,brand building and creating of colleges,exploring new teaching mode,building up marketing system,how to guarantee the implementation of the strategy.
