The Study On The Problems And Solutions Of Talents' Cultivation Of Independent Colleges

Independent college is the new mode in the process of the popularization of higher education. It refers to the secondary college of undergraduate course level which is conducted by the ordinary undergraduate course university in a new mechanism and new mode. As a boom novelty of the higher education systems, independent colleges' survival depends on whether it can foster marketable talents. There is an increasing concern of higher educators about the talents' cultivation of independent colleges.The paper analyses the existing problems and counter-measures of talents' cultivation of independent colleges in a method of literature, questionnaire and field investigation. The article is divided into four parts. The first part introduces research background, related literature and research methods. The second part analyses theoretical bases from four aspect: the theory of person' overall development, "human capital" theory, quality education theory and the orientation of independent colleges. The third part analyses the existing problems deeply as follows: students' resources, cultivating object, specialty establishment, curriculum system, quality assurance system, and then analyses the reasons.
