Research On The Education Modes Of Independent Colleges

The independent college emerges in the transitional period of China's Higher Education and grows rapidly with the educational resources of the parental college and the advantages of non-governmental running system. The independent college has become not only an important material vehicle for China's higher education to transform from elite cultivation to popular cultivation, but also a new method to resolve the contradictions of the parental colleges in their own development. The independent college undertakes about one thirds of the heavy responsibilities of talent cultivation nationwide; therefore, the study of its mode of talent cultivation is of great importance. In its early stage, the independent college discovers problems and explores its proper talent cultivation orientation constantly in its practice and as it matures the practical talents'cultivation has become a common orientation for all independent colleges in China.The present paper discusses theoretically the practical talents cultivation of independent colleges and studies deeply the construction of practical talents cultivation mode of independent colleges in China through theoretical analysis, expert interview, case study, data study etc. The paper consists of three parts. The first part introduces the background, theoretical and practical significance of the study and summarizes the stage of development and the existential significance of independent colleges against the background of the contradiction between demand and supply in the talent market. The second part makes a theoretical analysis of the practical talents cultivation mode of independent colleges, contrasts the cases of talents cultivation of typical independent colleges, and conducts expert interview to strengthen the timeliness and pertinence. It also clarifies the influence the independent college bring s to China's higher education and points out the existing problems in the practical talents cultivation of the independent college. The third part studies deeply the construction routes of the practical talents cultivation of independent colleges, puts forward the cultivation objectives, improves the special installation and construction, innovates the construction routes of the practical talents cultivation mode and the safeguard mechanism of the independent colleges.
