The work of student management in middling vocational school (MVS) plays an key role for the training of the persons with abilities. That the demand for the progress of the times and the society in the new situations brought forward new requests and challenges to the MVSs. It also should be profoundly influence the ways of students management, which is the important part of the management in MVSs.The first section of this thesis is the introduction of the backgrounds, i.e., the necessities of the reform of the MVSs were proposed by analyzing the history and actualities.The second section is the theoretical analysis. That the keystone sector of the reform, and the modes and measurements for intensifying the students principle status of the students in the management process were investigated. In order to perform these aims, the theories, such as Maslow hierarchy of needs theory, humanistic management theory, participating theory, association theory, etc., were elaborated combined with the facts of the students management in MVSs.The third section is that of surveying, inquisition, and inquirying. The actualities of the MVSs were obtained by inquirying, communication with, and surverying of the teaching staff. It was discussed that how to newly establish the role and orientation of the students management in the new conditions constrction of harmonious society, how to improve the management systems and working methods, how to adjust the working contents of the student management, how to intensify the construction of the students management unit. Especially, it was discussed that intensifying the student principle status in management of MVS based on the students needs for comprehensive development, evidently represents the humanistic idear, purposefully and consciously upgrade the abilities for self-management, participating, and interpersonal interaction. All of these are effective approaches to promote the reform of the students management in MVSs.
