Young faculty is the main force in the development of universities. Organizational commitments are the psychological link between university and its young faculty, which is one of the most important indexes that weigh the organizational objectives come true or not. The data are collected by questionnaires, analysed by some standard research methods, such as factor analysis, variance analysis, path analysis and partial correlation analysis, and then this paper explores the level of organizational commitments of university's young faculty, some influenced factors and the relations between dismission situation and organizational commitments by 251 samples from four "211 project" universities in Guangzhou. The conclusions drawn by this paper are summerized as follows:1.The whole level of young faculty's organizational commitments is little higher than medium, and normative commitment is the highest, involvement commitment is the lowest on score. There is negative correlation between dismission situation and organizational commitment.2.Demographic variables have certain impact on organizational commitment and dismission situation of young faculty in universities:(1) The level of male's organizational commitment and dismission situation is significant different from female's.(2)It is of no significance about organizational commitment and dismission situation of the young faculty's in marriage.(3)There is negative correlation between degree, title and organizational commitment, but it is of no significance. However, doctors have the highest dismission intention and bachelors have the highest pluralistic intention.
