Researching achievement goal orientations has been a front task to goal motivation. But many scholars researched these questions in the academic field. In view of different achievement goal orientations affects the differences of the behavior and emotion in coping situation, my study is to bring the achievement goal orientation into the psychological coping field. The purpose of this research is to explore structure and development characteristics of achievement goal orientations of undergraduate (AGU), as well as to the influence on coping self-efficacy and coping style by the goal orientations. The research used the questionnaires-oriented of undergraduate goal orientations. More than 809 students are surveyed. The results showed that:(1)Exploratory factor analyzing and confirmatory factor analyzing the data from the open questionnaire and standard questionnaire, it was proved that (AGU) is a seven-factor structure: mastery-approach, mastery-avoidance, performance-approach, performance-approach, performance-avoidance, social supports, social responsibility, communication avoidance. It was proved that (AGU) was a seven–factor and all its subscales had been proved to have good reliability and validity.(2) The demographical variables included sex, grade, major, ete.(3) Discussion about the relationship among achievement goal orientation , coping self-efficacy and coping style. According to statistics, we found that achievement goal orientation affect coping self-efficacy, as well as achievement goal orientation affect coping style by influencing individual's coping self-efficacy. Mastery-approach, mastery-avoidance and social responsibility are positive factors influence coping self-efficacy, compared with performance-avoidance and communication avoidance were negative factors influence coping self-efficacy. As well as mastery-approach, mastery-avoidance and social responsibility were positive factors affect matural coping style of by influencing coping self-efficacy, compared with performance-avoidance and communication avoidance are negative factors affect infant coping style and coping style of mixture by influencing coping self-efficacy.
