Summary: The teaching of Chinese reading is a thorny problem. Reading teaching theory that based on scientific theory of knowledge, studying psychology, reading course and reading psychology is scientific and can direct the practice .This article discourse on the scientific character of constructive learning theory, and it absorbs the important researching outcomes of the development of human's reorganization, studying and the ability to use and it raises the new idea that teachers should mobilize students' studying initiative and set up the ability of reorganization in studying process. This article which directed by the constructivism theory tries to set up the Chinese teaching principle and method in secondary school. The author combines the law of Chinese reading teaching and try to find out the essence of Chinese reading, the goal of reading teaching, basic connotation, structure, teaching design and teaching method. The author provides some appropriate examples in the article, and hope he can do some basic work for the use of constructivism theory in the teaching of Chinese reading.
