| With the deepening of elementary education reform, the traditional instruction pattern can not meet the requirements of modern society. In order to improve the education situation, great efforts have been made these years. Take mathematics classroom instruction pattern in middle school for example, it has been changing and developing constantly. Exploratory learning, as well as its classroom instruction pattern, has been introduced in the new curriculum reform. This investigative way of teaching is a pattern based on human-oriented education idea, promoting students to study actively and enthusiastically so as to get an all-round development.This article, after consulting the articles on the study of Exploratory Learning in mathematics at home and abroad, describes the meaning of this way of learning in mathematics class. It also explain its rationale in terms of psychology and pedagogy. To demonstrate its feasibility, a survey has been made in Senior Three of Fuzhou No.3 Middle School to get more information about mathematics classroom instruction.Meanwhile, a one-year exploring of this new way of teaching has been carried out in one of the classes. In this way, this article has done some research and gained some experience on the following three aspects, the pattern of exploratory classroom instruction, its procedures and the principles it should abide by. |
